I often receive enquiries from blog subscribers and readers about my traveling whereabouts, with the aim of perhaps hooking up for a chat in some convenient corner of the world. I do travel abroad quite often and would be very keen to connect with friends wishing to discuss investments and perhaps share a glass of wine somewhere on foreign soil. My travel schedule for the next few months are as follows: |
|
| • | February 14 – 16, 2008: Buenos Aires, Argentina |
| • | April 9 – 11, 2008: La Jolla, Los Angeles |
| • | May 30 – June 1, 2008: Laguna Beach, California |
| • | July, 2008: Switzerland, Slovenia |
| Visits to London are usually included once every two months.
Do feel free to drop me an e-mail if we are planning to be in the same location at the same time. It will be great to put faces to the names of people who have become members of my blog community through their regular visits and comments on the posts. |

I live in Los Angeles. Are you doing some kind of presentation that I could attend in Pasadena, La Jolla, or Laguna? I am an individual investor seeking fresh viewpoints. Thanks.

Alan, I will be attending John Mauldin’s annual conference in La Jolla from April 9 - 11. I am not yet sure whether I will be on the podium, but it is a very worthwhile conference with lots of time for interaction with the speakers. If you attend this, it will also afford us the opportunity to exchange some investment ideas. The conference website is at: https://hedge-fund-conference.com/ - the content will be updated for 2008 early next year.
There may also be opportunities in January and May to perhaps get together for a cup of coffee in Los Angeles. I will get back to you about this closer to the time.
